What does an Arctic Dome cost?

How does an Arctic Dome withstand wind and weather?
Arctic Dome is designed for use in all seasons. The domes have been tested in extreme outdoor conditions over several years, and we are confident in saying that the Arctic Dome is one of the market’s leading tenting products when it comes to wind and weather.
The unique dome shape makes sure the wind does not get a hold on the construction, making it very wind resistant. Looking at the basecamps at some of the world’s tallest mountains, it is clear that tents are often constructed as domes.
Are there financing options available?
Arctic Dome AS does not offer financing options for our customers. Most of our customers finance their domes with loans.
We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the grants and support options for your county and municipality. Most have business support grants where it’s possible to apply for project support. Innovation Norway also offers loans, grants and guarantees.
We do however offer rentals for domes, for periods of 1-5 days up to 7 months. Contact us for an offer!
What is the delivery time?
Delivery terms and times by agreement. Depends on demand and stocks, but no more than one month. Contact us for an offer.
What is the dome made of?
The framework is aluminium. The outer layer is made of 50/50 % cotton/polyester, impregnated and treated to be fire retardant. Inner layer is 100% polyamide. Window plastic is 100% PVC.
Do I have to apply for a permit to put up an Arctic Dome?
It depends on where you are setting up your Arctic Dome, and how long it will remain in the same place. I general rule is that the construction of new “buildings” needs applications to the municipality and the land owner. Send a request to us, and we will work it out together.

2. Get a proposal from us
We will help you set up a suggestion for designing the camp, and what kind of equipment you will need. Naturally, the proposal is not binding.
3. Review
We review the proposal together, and make changes as needed or wanted. Survey and preparations at the build site.
4. An agreement is reached
Agreement on number of Domes and equipment is drawn up with Arctic Dome AS. All formal applications and permits for the building site must be acquired.
5. Delivery
After production and any customization, all domes and equipment will be delivered to the destination.
6. Assembly
The building of the Dome Camp itself can be started.
