To us, the Arctic Dome has been a good investment, with the added benefit of good marketing value. We are seeing a large demand for the dome.

We chose Arctic Dome after receiving tips about it, and we thought the concept looked good. We are very happy with the product, but assembly during winter can be problematic.

We use our Arctic Dome for accommodation, meetings, and groups for lunches and team building. We also use it for receiving groups of tourists for 3-hour activities in our area. In addition, we have used the dome for several birthday parties.

The dome has gained incredible attention, and is visible from almost the whole town in its awesome location in the Narvik mountain.

We have new bookings nearly every day. People are also planning and booking a year ahead of time. We used it as an arena last Thursday, when we had 60 people in for lunch and team building.

A good friend of ours tipped us about Arctic Dome. Since we have a land plot, it’s uncertain how much and what kind of activities it will see, and we saw the benefit of having something “movable”.

The Dome gets us a lot of attention

The dome is an eyecatcher and something that will increase our sales.

Jotunheimen Panorama use their two Arctic Dome 15 for commercial accommodation in the “glamping” segment .

“Arctic Dome has definitely been a good investment for us” says Elin Husom Slåen who is the general manager at Jotunheimen Panorama. “We get loads of attention and we experience the dome being an eyecatcher. It is most certain an add-on that can create more sales for us.

We chose Arctic Dome because it is a solid and well designed product. It is not only produced in Norway, but in Gudbrandsdalen which is our local area. 

The possibility of investing in products that doesn’t leave any footprints in the nature, was important to us. The dome is easy to bring down and leaves its surroundings untouched, as opposed to what a construction on a building site would leave.  

Our guests experience a unique atmosphere inside the dome. Combined with the spectacular views surrounding the dome, they report of a “once in a lifetime” accommodation. Even though we’re just starting the project, we already experience the domes being very popular and getting a lot of attention, especially on Instagram. We are very pleased with the demand and number of sold nights already. This being without us having a full year of running the business yet.

The assemblance of the Arctic Domes was without challenges, however we do have a certain experience in assembling lavvos and other types of tents. 

We are very pleased with both the product and the service we have got from Arctic Dome so far. We do see that the carpets we had installed in the domes are quite difficult to maintain clean. The domes are situated in an area with a lot of heather which is easily brought inside the domes and gets stuck in the carpets. Because of this we spend quite some time vacuuming the domes and we are therefore looking for another solution in order to cut the maintenance costs.”
